Beyond Pilots: How Apps Associates Is Bringing Oracle AI Agents to Life
When most organizations were still experimenting with pilots and proofs of concept, our team at Apps Associates was already building. We saw early on that Oracle’s AI Agent Studio wasn’t just another tool—it was the start of a new era of intelligent automation inside the enterprise.
As one of Oracle’s early adopter partners, we gained early access to AI Agent Studio, including pre-release technical upgrades in 25D, and sent teams to Oracle Headquarters for deep-dive sessions and hackathons. Those experiences gave us a head start not just in understanding the technology, but in shaping how it could actually work for real Oracle customers.

The Value of Being Early
We’ve since built and validated 14 AI Agents—more than nearly any systems integrator worldwide—with our first already published in Oracle’s AI Agent Marketplace. And we’re already moving beyond those initial 14. Several additional AI Agents are now in development for active client deliveries, reflecting the growing demand for practical, embedded automation across Finance, Supply Chain, and HCM. Each one was built by consultants who were simultaneously delivering client projects, proving that innovation doesn’t have to happen in a lab; it can happen in the flow of real customer work.
Our goal was never to chase headlines. It was to understand what’s possible—to learn how these agents could automate repetitive tasks, surface insights faster, and help people make better decisions.
Scaling Knowledge, Not Just Code
One of the most important things we’ve done internally is invest in our people. More than 100 Apps Associates consultants are certified in Oracle AI Agent Studio, and over 275 hold AI certifications across OCI and related services. We’ve hosted five internal “Build-an-Agent” training sessions, ensuring that every consultant understands how to design prompts, configure tools, and evaluate performance.
That investment means when customers are ready to explore Agentic AI, they’re not starting from scratch—they’re working with a team that’s already lived the journey.
The AI Pioneer Program
To accelerate that momentum, we launched the AI Pioneer Program to recognize and empower our most proactive innovators—consultants who pursued Oracle AI Agent Studio certifications, built use cases in their own time, and collaborated directly with Oracle’s product teams.
Two groups of Apps Associates traveled to Oracle Headquarters in Redwood Shores for hands-on AI Agent development, and another team of five completed in-person training at Oracle’s Hyderabad campus. Working side by side with Oracle’s engineers, these teams created real-world use cases that demonstrate how Agentic AI can optimize everyday business processes.
One great example is automating the process of adding items to blanket purchase orders and automatically updating approved supplier lists—a seemingly small improvement that saves valuable time and reduces manual errors across procurement workflows.
Why This Matters
What’s most exciting about Oracle’s AI Agents is that they’re built in, not bolted on. They live inside Fusion Applications, follow existing security and governance models, and act as intelligent teammates—handling routine work so people can focus on strategy.
In the months ahead, Oracle’s roadmap will unlock even more potential: multimodal inputs, bring-your-own-LLM options, cross-pillar workflows, and deeper visibility into performance and ROI. Apps Associates will continue to collaborate closely with Oracle to test, refine, and deploy those features in ways that drive measurable value for our clients.
What’s Next
We’re just getting started. With Oracle’s 25D release, several of our Agents—built by our AI Pioneer teams—will be available in the Oracle Marketplace. From there, we’ll keep building, keep refining, and keep helping customers translate the promise of AI into everyday productivity.
A New Kind of Productivity
We believe this is the beginning of a shift from AI as a concept to AI as a co-worker. The organizations that succeed won’t be the ones building the most agents—they’ll be the ones teaching their people and processes how to work with them.
At Apps Associates, we’re proud to be helping define that future.
