The End of the Colocation Era

At the end of 2025, Apps Associates marked an important milestone: the official retirement of our colocation services. For 17 years – since 2008 – we’ve had the privilege of hosting physical servers and private cloud platforms for our customers across two Tier III data centers in the Dallas and Nashville metro areas.

Over the past decade, both our customers and the broader IT industry have steadily shifted away from traditional colocation infrastructure in favor of cloud-based solutions, and Apps Associates has evolved alongside this transformation. 

With our final customer successfully transitioned out of the legacy, on-prem facilities, our hosted servers have officially been fully decommissioned. This milestone certainly marks the end of an era, but it also allows us to focus entirely on delivering modern, cloud-first solutions that meet today’s business and technology demands.
